Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz who is professionally known in the media as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her after her hometown. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's mother and father also happen to be Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. The actress is the younger sister of Uria, and has half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's parents relocated her and her siblings in Mendocino County California when Ryder was seven years old. There they didn't have electricity. Ryder would read extensively due to the absence of television. Ryder started taking acting classes at the American Conservatory Theatre when she reached the age of 12. In 1986, she got her first big-screen role in the film Lucas when she was just 15 years old. Ryder experienced bullying at high school. Her hope was that her acting career would alter this. But, unfortunately, that didn't occur. But she continued to chase the dreams she had. In 1988, she received her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder went on to have success in roles. In 1993, Ryder was nominated two times for Academy Awards.
