Jeanie Marie Buss is an American businesswoman from the United States. She is the President and controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss is a native of California and grew up as part of a rich family. Jerry Buss' father was an investor in real estate and went on to own the Lakers along with various other sports organizations. When she was in the year 1972, her parents separated up and she felt emotionally abandoned. When she was 19, she was employed for the family's business. Then she founded in the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. In the beginning, she was vice-president of the Lakers before taking on the presidency of the Great Western Forum. Buss her father passed away in 2013, as did the Lakers were inherited from him by her as well as five of her siblings via the trust. Every sibling was entitled to the same number of votes. Buss was elected in 2013 to take over the presidency for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss owns a co-owned business Women of Wrestling an pro-wrestling promotion company that is based in Los Angeles.
